Dentures and More Terms and Conditions

Dentures & More Patient Terms & Conditions

1. General

These Terms and Conditions apply to all appointments, treatments, products and services provided by Dentures & More (D&M). By booking an appointment with us, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

Dentures & More reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. The latest version will always be available on our website.

2. Fees and Payment

Payment is due on the day of your appointment unless an alternative arrangement has been agreed in advance.

We accept:

  • EFTPOS
  • Cash
  • Visa
  • Mastercard
  • Debit cards
  • WINZ
  • Southern Cross (where available)
  • Afterpay (where available)

American Express (AMEX) is not accepted.

A surcharge applies to payments made by credit card or PayWave. The applicable surcharge will be advised at the time of payment.

If payment arrangements have been approved and an account becomes overdue, Dentures & More reserves the right to recover any reasonable costs incurred in collecting the outstanding balance, including debt collection agency fees where permitted by law.

3. Afterpay

Afterpay is available where offered by Dentures & More.

All finance applications, approvals and repayments are subject to the terms and conditions of Afterpay. Dentures & More is not responsible for approval decisions, payment plans or account management undertaken through Afterpay.

4. Deposits, Cancellations and Missed Appointments

Certain appointments or treatments may require a deposit to secure your booking.

Where a deposit has been paid:

  • the deposit will be credited towards your treatment;
  • if you do not attend your appointment (a “no-show”), the deposit will be forfeited;
  • if you cancel your appointment on the day of your appointment, the deposit will be forfeited.

If you need to change your appointment, we ask that you provide as much notice as possible.

Dentures & More reserves the right to require deposits for future appointments where a patient has a history of missed appointments or late cancellations.

5. Late Arrivals

We understand that delays can happen. However, if you arrive late, we may not have sufficient time to complete your scheduled treatment.

Patients arriving more than 10–15 minutes after their scheduled appointment time may need to have their appointment shortened or rescheduled at the discretion of Dentures & More.

Where a deposit has been paid, the cancellation policy may apply if the appointment cannot proceed due to a late arrival.

6. Online Bookings

Online bookings are provided as a convenience for patients.

By making an online booking, you acknowledge that you are responsible for:

  • selecting Dentures & More as the correct practice;
  • selecting the appropriate appointment type;
  • ensuring your personal and contact details are accurate;
  • providing any relevant information requested during the booking process.

Dentures & More reserves the right to amend appointment times or contact you if a different appointment type or longer appointment is required.

Where a deposit is required for an online booking, the cancellation and no-show policy outlined in Section 4 applies.

7. Treatment Plans and Estimates

Any treatment plans, quotations or estimates provided are based on the clinical information available at the time of examination and are only valid for 6 weeks after the initial consultation.

Treatment requirements may change following further examination or during treatment. Where reasonably practicable, your clinician will discuss any changes to the proposed treatment or associated costs before proceeding.

Treatment estimates are not guarantees of the final cost.

8. ACC and Insurance Claims

Where applicable, Dentures & More can assist with ACC or insurance documentation.

However:

  • acceptance of any ACC or insurance claim is determined solely by the relevant organisation;
  • patients remain responsible for payment of any treatment costs not covered by ACC or their insurer;
  • if a claim is declined after treatment has been provided, the outstanding balance becomes the patient’s responsibility.

9. Promotional Offers

From time to time, Dentures & More may offer promotional pricing or special offers.

Unless otherwise stated:

  • offers are valid only during the advertised promotional period;
  • offers cannot be combined with any other promotion, discount or special pricing;
  • offers are subject to appointment availability;
  • payment is required on the day of treatment;
  • promotional offers are only available at Dentures & More and for the treatment or service specifically identified in the advertisement or promotion.

Dentures & More reserves the right to amend, extend or withdraw promotions at any time.

10. Children and Consent

Patients under the age of 18 should be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for their first appointment unless alternative arrangements have been agreed with Dentures & More.

A parent or legal guardian may be required to provide consent before treatment is carried out.

Dentures & More reserves the right to postpone treatment where appropriate consent cannot be obtained.

11. Privacy

Dentures & More collects, stores and uses personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020 and our Privacy Policy.

Your information is collected for purposes including:

  • providing dental care;
  • communicating with you regarding appointments and treatment;
  • processing payments;

If your contact details change, it is your responsibility to notify Dentures & More so we can keep your records up to date.

You may opt out of non-essential communications at any time. However, Dentures & More may continue to contact you where necessary in relation to your appointments, treatment, accounts, or where required by law.

13. Liability

Dentures & More is committed to providing dental treatment to a high professional standard.

As every patient and clinical situation is unique, treatment outcomes cannot be guaranteed.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, the Health and Disability Commissioner Code of Health and Disability Services Consumers’ Rights, or any other applicable New Zealand legislation.

14. Changes to Appointments

From time to time it may be necessary for Dentures & More to reschedule an appointment due to unforeseen circumstances, including clinician illness, emergencies or equipment issues.

Where this occurs, we will make every reasonable effort to contact you as soon as possible and arrange an alternative appointment at the earliest available time.
